HIBISCUS MINT TEA

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp dried hibiscus petals

  • 1 tbsp dried peppermint leaves (or a few fresh sprigs)

  • 1 tsp dried lemon balm or holy basil (tulsi) (optional)

  • 3–4 cups hot water

  • Honey or raw agave (optional, to taste)

  • Fresh lemon slices (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add hibiscus, mint, and optional herbs to a teapot or heatproof jar.

  2. Pour hot water (not boiling, just before) over the herbs.

  3. Cover and let steep for 10–15 minutes.

  4. Strain and sweeten if desired. Add lemon slices if you like. - I always strain mine.

  5. Drink warm or let it chill and serve over ice.

Sip slowly. Let it cool the fire, clear your head, and soften anything you’ve been holding.
